Door 5
Today is the 1st August 2013, which is Lammas (Anglo-Saxon Pagan Festival). It is the festival of the wheat harvest, and it is often referred to as "the feast of first fruit". On this day it was customary to bless a loaf made from the new crop. A book of Anglo-Saxon charms directed that the lammas bread be broken into four bits, which were to be placed at the four corners of the barn, to protect the grain.

thats lovely! I think perhaps it could lead to a field with people dancing and tables full of fresh loaves and jam in celebration of Lammas xx
